1st Corinthians 13 Bible Study Guide
Hey! Thank you for choosing the 1st Corinthians 13 Bible Study guide. This Bible study guide has been designed in a way to support individuals and study groups as they learn from the Holy Spirit (through Apostle Paul) how to walk practically in love towards everyone, deserving or undeserving.
Students will be using the SOAPS Bible Study methodology to tackle each lesson. SOAPS stands for Scripture, Observation, Application, Prayer, Share. See explanation for each item below.
Each lesson contains sections on the following:
Prayer and thanksgiving, reminding you to give thanks to God for all He has done and make requests to Him for He's ever willing to meet our needs.
Scripture: the main verse for each lesson, as well as other supporting verses are provided. Students are expected to read through all the scriptures for each lesson.
Observation: Having read the scriptures provided, students then get to respond to questions relating to the lesson they are studying. Students should research scriptures for more supporting verses, where needed.
Life Application Plan: helps you plan how you'd obey the word you've just studied.
Prayer: students are each expected to write out a prayer asking God to show them how to obey and for help to remember what they have learned.
Share: you can write out the name(s) of someone with whom you'd like to share what you've learned.
