Cast It All - Once And For All
How can you trust Him? First of all, He is all powerful. The size of your problems or causes of anxiety are nothing, absolutely nothing, in comparison to Him. He is able to do ALL things.

Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. - Philippians 4:6 (NIV)
This post is just reminding anyone who needs this today. It may not feel like it at the moment, but God's got you covered.
He meant it when He said that you should leave your burdens to Him. Sometimes, what makes us so frustrated isn't even the magnitude of our problems, but the fact that we're constantly failing at every attempt to resolve them. Jesus anticipated this, so He offered to carry them for you.
In Matthew 11:28-30, He said, “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.”
And He meant ALL burdens - anything that has or can prevent you from enjoying the divine peace that He gives.
How can you trust Him? First of all, He is all-powerful. The size of your problems or causes of anxiety is nothing, absolutely nothing, in comparison to Him. He is able to do ALL things.
Secondly, He is willing to help you. The leper in Matthew 8:1-4 recognized that God could help him, but he questioned his willingness to. Jesus' response to Him was, "I am willing." Not once was it recorded that Jesus turned away anyone who came to Him for help.
In John 6:37, Jesus said, "...whoever comes to me I will never drive away." He has a track record of truth in this statement.
Thirdly, He cares for you. He doesn't want you to go through that pain, difficulty, lack, addiction, sin, or whatever by yourself. I love the AMPC version of 1 Peter 5:7, as it describes how God cares for you. It says, "Casting the whole of your care [all your anxieties, all your worries, all your concerns, once and for all] on Him, for He cares for you affectionately and cares about you watchfully."
His care for you is affectionate. As a mother dotes on her newborn, God cares about you watchfully.
You only need to give it all to Him - once and for all; and while He works it out, you get to enjoy the peace that surpasses all understanding and joy unspeakable, both found in Christ alone.
I hope this encourages you.
