Prayers for Mothers
Most mothers are selfless, always after and about the needs of their children, and this is why they need prayers.

As we approach Mother's Day, I am moved to inspire you to pray for mothers. Mothers are a major influence in the lives of their children, and lives have been/are being shaped directly by the actions or inactions of mothers.
Unfortunately, there are many expectations from mothers, but little prayers are said for them. I did a Google search the other day on "prayers for mothers", and the results were mostly on the prayers mothers make for their children. Most mothers are selfless, always after and about the needs of their children, and this is why they need prayers.
So, this week, leading up to Mother's Day, I plead with you to pray for the following groups of mothers:
1. Working moms - that God would give them the grace and wisdom to balance their lives, careers, and families (Proverbs 24:3-4; Proverbs 31:26-27).
2. Single moms - that God would give them the strength to carry on as they support their children while playing the roles of father and mother (Isaiah 41:10).
3. Grieving moms - that God (who is the God of all comfort) would heal their hearts and wrap them in His love (2 Corinthians 1:3-4; Zephaniah 3:17).
4. Grandmothers - that God will bring to pass the deepest desires of their hearts over their grown children and their grandchildren (Proverbs 17:6).
5. Sick moms - that God will bring healing to their bodies and restore their health, so that they can fully carry out their responsibilities as mothers over their children (Jeremiah 30:17).
6. Struggling moms - that God will help them break free from addictions, and heal depressions or pain that has held them bound or down (Matthew 11:28-29).
7. Mothers in financial need - that God will prosper their finances and supply all their needs (2 Corinthians 9:8).
8. Worried mothers - that God will give them peace over their children and wisdom on the right steps to take (Philippians 4:6-7).
9. Unsaved mothers - that they would come to know the LORD and raise children who would live for, and serve, God (John 6:44; Proverbs 22:6).
10. Expectant mothers - that God will bless them with children and wipe away their years and tears of barrenness (Psalm 113:9).
You can add more to the list. Wishing you a blessed week ahead. ❤️
