A Bible Study Guide for Pre-teens and Teens
Hey! Thank you for choosing the "What is Love?" Bible Study guide for Pre-teens and Teens. This Bible study guide has been designed in a way to support individuals and study groups as they learn from the Holy Spirit (through Apostle Paul) how to walk practically in love towards everyone, deserving or undeserving.
Each lesson contains sections on the following:
Prayer and thanksgiving, reminding you to give thanks to God for all He has done and make requests to Him for He's ever willing to meet our needs.
Today’s Reading: The scripture for each lesson is outlined here. Students are expected to read through the verse before answering the questions.
Sneak Peek: Here, students read a story that relates to the love subject being discussed in each lesson. This helps to make the subject more relatable to the learner.
Reflection: Each student gets to respond to questions that relate to the love subject in each lesson, helping each child understand how they can practically show love in their circles. This session can be handled as a group discussion if studying as a group.
Application Plan: Each student has the opportunity of not only hearing the Word, but doing it, and putting into practice what they have learned.
Prayer: Students are each expected to write out a prayer asking God to show them how to obey and for help to remember what they have learned.
Share: God is particular about us teaching others what we have learned (2 Timothy 2:2), so for every lesson, plan to share your lessons with at least one person.
Have Some Fun: Use this portion of the study guide to test your knowledge of what you have learned in each lesson through fun Bible games.
